Synthesis of Dyes

Color plays an extremely important role in our daily life. Dyes, textile, printing, food, medicine, cosmetics, paint, paper, leather, sensors, solar cells, etc. These are colored organic compounds used in various industries, including In the center, the synthesis of organic dyestuffs and the development of new materials are carried out by our Dyes Synthesis team under the leadership of Dr. Zeynel SEFEROĞLU.

Applications of Dyes

Determining the properties of the developed dyestuffs and materials is essential in terms of knowing the application limits. For this purpose, the characterization of the dyestuffs obtained in our Center and the application studies in various fields (sensor, textile, etc.) are carried out by our Dyes Applications team under the leadership of Dr. Burcu AYDINER.

Computational Science

Computational science is a rapidly growing field that uses advanced computational capabilities and computer capabilities to understand and solve complex problems. Computational science, a multidisciplinary field of science, fundamentally involves the development of models and simulations to understand natural systems. Within the center, our computational science team develops solutions and suggestions for complex problems in chemistry and materials under the leadership of Dr. Nurgül SEFEROĞLU.​​​

Material Production and Characterization

It is of utmost importance to produce metals and composite materials, which are engineering materials with a wide range of use in industry, by Powder Metallurgy (TM) method and to apply strength-enhancing secondary processes (heat treatment, pre-deformation, etc.). Production and metallurgical characterization of advanced engineering materials are carried out by our Material Production and Characterization team under the leadership of Dr. Bülent BOSTAN.

Electromechanics and Energy Conversion

Energy in many different forms is often converted into electrical energy because electrical power can be transmitted and controlled simply, reliably, and efficiently. However, electromechanical energy converters are the most important energy conversion devices. The "Electromechanics and Energy Conversion" research group within the center conducts studies on the design, modeling, and analysis of devices such as electric motors, generators, and actuators. Similarly, electrical characterization studies of solar cells, which have an important place in energy conversion, are also carried out by our research group.
